Digital Journalism Internship

This is a terrific opportunity for an entrepreneurial, creative, self-motivated individual to learn more about the marketing and communications industry and to gain excellent, hands-on experience with high-profile and celebrity clients. This job also offers flexibility and fun!

Timing/Hours: This internship will be approximately 20 weeks in duration and the hours for this position are approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Write and develop weekly blog posts for the Labelleladiva Blog​

  • Research client news and stay up-to-date with all client press and media

  • Have creative freedom to write public relations and marketing related articles

  • Conduct phone and/or email interviews as assigned by the editor

  • Meet all editorial deadlines and complete research required for blog posts

  • Listening, talking, transcribing, proofreading, and editing.

  • Interview research, preparation and follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Must be an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a communications related field (i.e. Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Journalism) and have an outstanding GPA.

  • Extremely organized.

  • Must possess strong written & verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in all Google platforms, Canva, all social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tiktok, Linkedin etc).

  • Self-starter, organized, task-oriented, experience conducting research.

  • Must be able to commit to 15-20 hours per week.

  • Must be able to work virtually (Please note that due to COVID19 requirements, this internship will be completed 100% virtually).
